July 2013. Our maiden voyage was to beautiful Wind Creek State Park @ Lake Martin, AL. We stayed right on the lake and it was so pretty! We ate at Kowaliga Restaurant on Saturday afternoon....the song Kowaliga was a wooden indian...was sang after the restaurant.
ReplyDeleteAugust 2013. We took off to Chattanooga, TN. We stayed on the foothills of Raccoon Mountain @ Raccoon Mountain Camp Ground. Chattanooga has a really pretty and active downtown area with great restaurants. The weather was really cool for August....in the high 60's.
ReplyDeleteSeptember 2013. Joe and I went to the beach house for a week in St. Augustine. Every time I step on on the balcony it makes me wish I could see that view everyday. It is beautiful. We took Sophie and Brownie this trip and took them downtown with us one day, we walked on the waterfront and they visited their first dog friendly restaurant, The White Lion. The waiter brought them out their own water bowl and they just chilled while we ate lunch. We drove down to Daytona Beach one day and came back up A1A. It is so pretty too!
ReplyDeleteJanuary 2014. Had a great Thanksgiving and Christmas. We are ready to get back to traveling. We are headed to Tunica this week and on to Las Vegas end of month. Then maybe we can get back to RV'ing.
